More than 55 food booths offer everything from strawberry pizza, strawberry salsa, to strawberry kabobs, strawberry funnel cake, strawberry BBQ sauce, strawberry cotton candy, strawberry burritos we even have strawberry sushi! Whether it’s shortcaked, chocolate dipped, ice blended, sliced, fried or funnel caked, strawberries are the celebrated fruit.

Best of all, with each delicious bite the proceeds help raise funds for area non-profit clubs and organizations throughout the Miami Valley.

Bringing together the people and the purpose, the Festival provides the unique ingredient of fun. Members from each non-profit group -- young and old alike working together -- decorate their booths, prepare their strawberry treats, sell to patrons, and reap the fruits of their labor. The revenues go toward upgraded computers, new sports uniforms, band instruments, buses for field trips and team competitions, Boy Scouts, Senior Citizens Center, Habitat for Humanity construction and repairs, after school music programs, and much more.

The Troy Strawberry Festival has grown and remained true to its mission of giving back to the community.

FULTON FARMS

In 1977, Troy held the first Strawberry Festival. Members of the Troy Area Chamber of Commerce had suggested a corn or strawberry festival. The Strawberry was a natural selection. At that time Fulton Farms, just outside Troy, Ohio had one of the largest Strawberry fields east of the Mississippi River, and the first week of June is a great time to celebrate the berry harvest. The festival is grateful to Fulton Farms who continue to participate and support in our annual celebration:

ARTS & CRAFTS

Over 250 artisans display and sell their quality-handcrafted items. A list of artists participating and their booth locations will be available at the Festival information booth throughout the weekend event. You will find woodworking, metal crafts, jewelry, pottery, children’s items, and items for pets, glassware and many other handcrafted items. Artist from over 12 states participate in the annual Troy Strawberry Festival.
