2011 Theme and Logo

The Troy Strawberry Festival would like to announce the Troy Strawberry Festival theme and logo. The 2011 theme will be “Berry Thankful Hearts” The theme was selected by David Geiger the Troy Strawberry Festival 2011 General Chairman.  The festival theme and logo represents David’s deep appreciation for all the blessings in his life, in the lives of his loved ones and in each of our lives. While we each go through challenges and struggles, and even deep heartaches throughout our lives we can still point to things we are thankful for or how we came through those difficult times. This is true for people as individuals, for a community, or even for Americans as a whole. Each of us has been blessed and can find many things in our hearts that make us thankful. David’s hope is that anyone who sees this logo will be able to pause and consider how he or she has “Berry Thankful Hearts”.

The logo shows a pair of hands cupped around a heart shaped strawberry. The logo brings together our hearts as the shape of the strawberry and our hands presenting the heart as in offering our thanks.
